About Us
The South Lake El Dorado Narcotic Enforcement Team (S.L.E.D.N.E.T.) was estabilshed in 1988. Based in the Lake Tahoe basin, law enforcement agencies, local and federal established this Multi-Agency Narcotic Task Force to fight the war on drugs. The D.E.A., F.B.I., U.S. Customs, The Department of Justice Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement, The South Lake Tahoe Police Department, The El Dorado County Sheriff, and The El Dorado County District Attorney's Office were the founding Agencys.
